Omilola Oshikoya is first known as the Father’s Daughter. Her life’s goal is to be a reflection of her Father, Jesus, just like the sunflower is the reflection of the sun. She is happily married to her best friend John Olugbenga Oshikoya and they are blessed with beautiful children.

Omilola Oshikoya is Africa’s wealth connoisseur with over 15 years’ experience in finance/investment banking. Omilola’s mission is to inspire millenials to live the “Richer Life” & to help create wealth and eradicate poverty in Africa through a tool she created called “The Hand of Wealth” which focuses on five areas, what true wealth is, how to create wealth (business/entrepreneurship), how to manage & grow wealth (personal finance) & how to use wealth. She does this through her brands/trademarks, “The Tech World of Finance” “The Fathers Daughter” “Do It Afraid”, “The Richer Woman” and “The Richer Kids Club”.
Omilola Oshikoya is the founder of Omilola Oshikoya International (OOI), a life & finance coaching company. In 2018 OOI set up the first of its kind online financial education platform “The Tech World of Finance” www.wofin.orgwhich aims to reduce the financial inclusion gap, eradicate poverty and create wealth through financial literacy. Partners include Access Bank, PiggyVest, Sankore Investment, Association of International Certified Professional Accountants etc.
In 2015, OOI held its first conference called the “Do It Afraid” conference at Civic Centre. The theme was “A moth or a butterfly which would you rather be? The conference is a wealth creation initiative focused on the psychology of an entrepreneur. In 2016, the first entrepreneurship workshop was held & the theme was “Agribusiness the next frontier”. The workshop aimed to showcase the business opportunities in agribusiness in Nigeria even in a recession. The second “Do It Afraid” Conference was held in December 2016 at Eko Hotel and the theme was “The Flourishing Palm tree and its process”. The third conference was held in December 2017 with the theme “The Promise of the Rainbow” and the fourth conference themed “Flowing with Milk and Honey” in December, 2018. As a result thousands of millennials have been inspired to start their own business even in a recession thereby creating wealth and job opportunities. OOI held its first international event in London, in 2017.
A UK certified life coach, Omilola is the author of The RicherWoman and a contributor to a book called the “Money Book”. In 2017, The RicherTMWoman was launched in different cities such as the London, Lagos, Abuja, Accra, Kenya, Dubai, Johannesburg, Maryland, New York, Atlanta and Ibadan and has been read in countries as far as Australia, Ireland etc. The book was on the Channels Television Book Clubs top 20 Nigerian books for 2017. In 2018, the french version of the book, La Femme La Plus Riche was launched in Abidjan, Paris and Kigali. Omilola is also a co-host for a talk show titled, “The Heart of the Matter”, which airs in 44 African Countries including the United Kingdom.
In 2019, Omilola joined the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women – Mentoring Women in Business Programme as a mentee. In 2018, Omilola was also featured amongst 40 influential women in Nigeria by Lancome Paris first campaign in Nigeria. Omilola was also appointed as a social media influencer for First Bank, Sankore Investments and I-Investapp by Sterling Bank. Omilola was listed among the 2017 Powerlist Women supporting Women and the Ynaija & Leading Ladies Africa 100 most inspiring women in Nigeria in 2016. She was also a mentor under the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship program and was an independent monitor under the Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria Programme. In 2017 she became a brand ambassador of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
In 2018, Omilola was appointed as a non-executive director for Sofresh Neighbourhood Market Limited, a company at the forefront of healthy living in Nigeria which has an indirect impact on the agricultural sector. The company attracted foreign investment in the form of equity from OXFAM’s Tripple I. She was also acknowledged as a role model by the Centre for Values in Leadership founded by Prof. Pat Utomi. In 2016, Omilola was given an award by the Lagos State University Students’ Union in “recognition of immense contribution to Youth & National Development”. In 2014, Omilola was recognized as a chosen youth by the La Roche Leadership Foundation, founded by the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Akinwunmi Ambode and given an award “for showing exemplary leadership attributes as a Youth and contributing to the sustainable development of the larger society”.
She has been invited to speak & train at companies such as Access Bank Plc, Procter and Gamble, KPMG, Google, Ericsson Nigeria, Accenture, Total Nig Plc, Health Plus Limited, Alat by Wema Bank, Bella Naija, WIMBIZ etc. She is a wealth coach to wealth families and their kids. In 2015, she coached (wealth coaching) the Chairman and the Managing Director of Access Bank Plc and their families at a private family retreat.
She has been interviewed by the major Newspapers, and as an international speaker, she has been invited to speak at high profile events and several talkshows on television and radio both locally and internationally. She has been featured on international platforms such as BBC Africa, Huffington Post, Journalist Hangout UK, She Leads Africa, Arise News, Bella Naija etc. She has also been invited to speak at churches, conferences, schools, and other events.
Previously, Omilola worked as the Head of Media and Publications at Guiding Light Assembly for three years. She set up the church’s social media accounts, developed a new website for the church and was responsible for all publications, publicity and communications of the church office.
Omilola garnered experience as a seasoned Financial Analyst with over 10 years work experience in Finance and Accounting covering areas such as Investment Banking, Fund Management, Infrastructure/Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Advisory, Project Management, Internal Control Analysis and Audit. She was an Associate in ARM Investment Managers, where she worked in areas such as Infrastructure Finance, Investment Banking/Financial Advisory and the ARM Hospitality and Retail Fund. Notable achievements include the start- up of a US$250 million Hospitality and Retail fund, achieving first financial close at US$31million, and the launch of the Fund’s flagship project, an internationally branded Four Star hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
She also negotiated a concession agreement and structured equity for a US$6.5million Urban Infrastructure Parking Project with a Nigerian State Government under a Public Partnership scheme, and managed a US$14 million Bombardier Lear Jet 45XR asset. Other work experience include The Royal Bank of Scotland (UK), Akintola Williams Deloitte, and FutureView Financial Services Ltd, where she worked in the corporate finance division. She is a NCFE UK certified life coach. She has a BA Accounting and Finance from the University of Kent (UK). She obtained a certificate in latest techniques and software for performing Hotel market studies and valuations from the School of Hospitality Management, PennState University, Pennsylvania, USA. She has attended various conferences worldwide including the 2010 Annual Nigeria Energy & Power Summit (NEPS) Abuja, the 2011 Arabian Hotel Investment Conference UAE, and the 2011 Tourism and Infrastructure Investment Summit & Awards, South Africa.
Omilola is an ordained Youth Minister at Ignite, the youth ministry of Guiding Light Assembly.
